Writing is a good creative outlet for our wellbeing especially for our mental and emotional health as it helps us express and process our feelings, thoughts, experiences, and stories. In this interactive write-shop, participants are going to be given different activities and times of reflection that will help in expressing and processing their unique journey to clarity and healing.

What do you do as a Growth and Grief Coach?

As a trained and certified life and grief coach through one of ICF’s (International Coaching Federation) Accredited Coach Training Program, I focus mainly on partnering with people who desire to make growth in their personal or professional lives, and with individuals who are in need to process their unique loss or grief (whether it’s a living or death loss).

As your coach, we will explore how you can have more clarity, awareness, progress, and hope in your current season. For others, this may mean realizing an obstacle or barrier that is keeping them from moving forward. For some, it might be identifying action steps that can help them to achieve their goals. And for many, especially during this pandemic, it might be just having a safe place where they can articulate what’s important to them.

No matter what you’re presently going through, as a growth (life) and grief coach, I believe in your God-given purpose and how your story can make a difference in the world around you.

What kind of commitment is required of me?

Coaching could be one of the best investments that you can give your present and future self. But to make the most of this opportunity, you need to be responsible, accountable, and committed to change. And here are just some of the simple yet essential things that can help you make the most of our time together:

  • Being on time and being very present
  • Being open and honest
  • Doing your work and reflection, especially with the collaborated designed action steps
  • Being accountable to your coach with your challenges and progress

Are you going to make me emotional during coaching?
As every person and session is unique, there may be times within the process of a coaching session that a client may become emotional. He or she may suddenly become aware of either something that will make him or her excited, happy or astonished, or even a realization that might cause a bout of sadness, anger, pain, or disappointment.

And these are all okay. Being emotional in a coaching session is normal, whether in men or women. One of the best places to go through all these emotions is in a safe space, which a coaching environment can provide. Sometimes moments like this becomes life-changing and even healing for people to experience and go through.

How can I be assured if I’ll become better through coaching?

As with anything, change can only happen when you’re also committed to doing your work. The assurance will only come from the kind of intentionality and action you’re willing to have and do before, during, and after each of your coaching session/s (and group programs).

If you want to be sure if coaching is for you, I offer a free one (1) hour of one-on-one coaching for my subscribers. I’ll only encourage you to work with me further if we’ll both agree that you’ll be able to benefit from our time together. Otherwise, I can refer you to other coaches or professionals that would be of best fit for you and your needs.

 

I’m based outside the Philippines, how do I book for coaching and join your group programs?
Since our one-on-one coaching and group programs are done online and in English, this makes it possible for people anywhere in the world to join us. Interested clients or participants who are willing to commit their time based on the available schedule can click on our programs to find more information. You may also send us an email at info@seasonswithmsjm.com if you want to arrange a specific time for one-on-one coaching and customized group programs.

So far, we’re blessed to have group programs and coaching sessions with individuals from North and South America, Africa, Asia, and Australia.

How would I know which group program is best for me?

Our group programs are all integrated and offers a safe space for you. You can create your pathway to clarity and hope by starting through any of our coaching sessions or group programs based on your journey of choice. You may check the brief description of each program below to help you decide where to start. You can also take our one-on-one coaching sessions anytime between these group programs as you see fit and needed.

LOSS & GRIEF SESSIONS – A safe place to learn about the truth on loss and the process of grief through three weekly facilitated presentations and meetings of two hours each with an intimate group that will make you understand more about your loss and others who are grieving.

There is an opportunity to engage during this program, but only if you feel like participating. Thinking of joining a support group, but not sure if it is for you? This program may be a good way to start.

LOSS & GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP – This is a one-hour facilitated program that focuses on coaching individuals in a group setting. Whether you’re just starting or would like to continue with your journey to awareness and healing, this might be helpful for you. This could be taken after the Loss & Grief Sessions or by anyone who would want to navigate their unique process deeper in a safe space.

WRITE-SHOP – This is great for people who would like to process things creatively. Our write-shop is an interactive facilitated program filled with doable writing activities, time of reflections, and sharing of stories that will encourage or even awaken the writer in you.

It’s a refreshing creative outlet for mental and emotional health that help individuals express and process their emotions, thoughts, and experiences through the power of writing in an encouraging environment. Some of our participants gained clarity and healing just by joining our sessions. This workshop can be taken as part of your self-care or can be an added tool after attending the Wise & Well Living Workshop.

WISE & WELL LIVING –  This workshop is designed to help participants create their own sensible and practical self-care plan in order for them to live better in body, soul, and spirit. This is best for people who are going through major transitions, stresses, and even losses who are in need to make some doable changes that hopefully will usher them to have more clarity and practical tools in moving forward.

Absolutely! I love designing and simplifying programs that will best serve groups or teams, companies or organizations, or ministries that need change or growth, whether in their work environment, personal or holistic progress, or equipping them in terms of coaching or bereavement management.

Are your coaching and programs exclusive for Christians?
Whether in one-on-one or group coaching sessions, I make sure to adhere to the ICF’s Code of Ethics and Core Values of integrity, excellence, collaboration, and respect. That said, every person is valued regardless of their age, religion, status, gender, race, or other areas of human difference (as how ICF puts it). Coaching will always be about you and what’s important to you.

As for my group programs, I may share based on my studies, experience, research, and Biblical worldview, but I make sure that each of the group sessions is designed where everyone is welcome in a safe environment, and participants can learn from each other as everyone is required to honor and respect each other’s story, background, and values.

Do you offer special discounts?

As my heart is to serve people through one-on-one coaching and group programs, I made sure to create services that are affordable but at the same time something that others will value for their holistic progress and growth.

I’ve been there, and I may not entirely know what you’re going through, but just like you, I also had those seasons when I was riding a roller coaster kind of emotions during some of the most challenging transitions that I experienced in life. And what was hard was to go through the process without knowing if what you’re going through is normal, right?

How are you?

Let me start by saying you’re not alone. I’ve been there, and I may not entirely know what you’re going through, but just like you, I also had those seasons when I was riding a roller coaster kind of emotions during some of the most challenging transitions that I experienced in life. And what was hard was to go through the process without knowing if what you’re going through is normal, right?

Knowing more and more people who are going through the same thing, especially last 2020, God lead me to pivot to coaching to help bring clarity and hope to people through one-on-one sessions and group programs online. And to better equip myself to support others, I recently completed an accredited U.S.-based Coach Training Program through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) that makes me a now certified life, grief, and end-of-life coach.

To date, I had the privilege to coach individuals and facilitate groups with people located in eleven countries, which brought about awareness, healing and growth in their lives. And this could only be done through God’s amazing grace and work through these opportunities amidst a pandemic.
