TRUE STORY | MY BRIDE STORY: THE SURPRISE RESPONSE AND THE BTS (FEATURING THE BRIDAL TEAM FROM KAPWA STUDIO AND BRIDAL ROBES FROM NIYA GABRIELA) PART 4

 

Well, hello there, June! And hi there countless and gorgeous June brides and weddings!

I just want to quickly share the Behind-the-Scenes about my recent series, “My Bride Story”. (You may check the link of the stories below this blog). But first, my heart’s been really full from all the responses that I’ve been getting from people (friends, readers, and strangers alike), so a big THANK YOU to you guys (even to those who read the series “secretly”, lol. Thanks). It really means a lot to me. With this, I’ll be sharing some of those responses on this post, too.

Secondly, I want to keep you guys posted as I think this is a very important part of “My Bride Story”. After writing and sharing about the 3rd part of My Bride Story, I got the most SUR-PRI-SING RESPONSE of all. I got a response from…

*drum roll please…

“THE GUY”! Yes, you heard it right, I-GOT-A-RESPONSE-FROM-THE-GUY!

(I literally felt a strange heat crawled towards my face and head, and was filled with goosebumps when his name suddenly popped up on top of my messenger’s list. I was like, “Oh my Lord, he read the blog?!?”, “What in the world…”, “What is he going to say?”… Then the strange heat suddenly turned into a comforting warmth as I read through his message.)

I know that his response was something that I needed to share, so I asked for his permission and I’m glad how he graciously approved. (Thank you, Guy.)

Before we get to the responses and since it’s already “the wedding month”, I would like to share the behind-the-scenes from our bridal photo shoot at Kapwa Studio first, the event that lead me to share about “My Bride Story”. And if you’re one of those soon-to-be-brides who are still looking for a team who can help you become more radiant and beautiful on your special day,  this video might just inspire you. 🙂

It was an interesting and captivating read, one which, helped me better understand the tension and struggles that you went through during that time. I’m so glad and happy to hear about how God shaped and sharpened you. I appreciate your venerability and I can see that it has taken great courage to share with others your story. I commend you for your boldness and I hope that others can learn from your experience and be encouraged through their own hard times.

Just kidding!” 

OKAY, so the rest of my response is no longer needed here. 🙂 But I hope that “My Bride Story” and the kind of unexpected response from The Guy will give you hope in whatever you’re going through. (I love how we can all honor each other amidst and despite of circumstances.)

Sometimes, the stories in our lives may not have the kind of ending that we expect nor desire but it’s always POSSIBLE for them to have a beautiful ending. And it will always depend on you and how you respond to it.

You have the power to pick “an ending” to your story. You may choose to learn to be stronger, to love deeper and to TRUST more than ever, or you may choose to live otherwise (I hope not).

With your present stories, may you see the ‘WHAT NOW’ today and God’s amazing grace and plan for your own “Bride Story” (no matter what its theme is about). Would love to hear about your own stories! 🙂
